Move over Hannah Montana, the ticket craze at the Qwest Center is no longer about you. The ticket craze at the Qwest Center is now a sporting event that features over 1100 swimmers and a giant portable pool. Did I mention the giant portable pool would be used at the Qwest Center to dwindle 1100 swimmers into an elite group of 52 swimmers that will represent USA in the Olympics. Yep, that's right.
No wonder 106,000 tickets were sold to the Olympic Swimming Trials at the Qwest Center Omaha today when they went on sale!
The Olympic Swim Trials start on June 29 and last for eight days. There are 15 sessions in total that will each select members to the USA Olympic Swim Team. 13,100 lucky ticket holders will fill the Qwest Center each session.
The Omaha World Herald is reporting that 106,000 tickets have been sold already to the Olympic Swimming Trials.
