The next three weeks will see several outstanding concerts coming to the Qwest Center, highlighted by a visit from "The Boss" and his band.
Tuesday night, Matchbox Twenty and Alanis Morissette will hit the stage, with Mute Math serving as the opening act. Morissette is well known for her classic "You Oughta Know" and "You Learn" and will put on an energy-fueled show. She'll be followed by Matchbox Twenty, which has gained fame for such hits as "3 a.m." and "Real World."
On Friday, March 7, two of country music's hottest artists will share an evening with fans at the Qwest Center on their "Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Carnival Ride" tour. Keith Urban and former American Idol champion Carrie Underwood will perform some of their current and classic hits as they share the stage. Urban is out in support of his Greatest Hits album, while Underwood is highlighting her sophomore effort, "Carnival Ride.
The run of great concerts reaches a climax the following Friday, March 14, when one of rock and roll's all-time greatest graces the Qwest Center stage. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play many of The Boss' classics, from "Dancing In The Dark" to "Born To Run." The show is always heart-pounding and full of great musicianship, and it's one of the area's hottest concert tickets early in 2008.
