Bruce Springsteen is one of the best singer-songwriters of all of rock and roll, and he recently kicked off the second leg of his "Magic" tour in Hartford, Conn. He'll be making a stop in Omaha on the current leg of his tour with his Friday, March 14 concert at the Qwest Center.
In a recent review in the Hartford Courant, Springsteen dove deep into his collection of music to kick off the latest leg of his tour, playing 23 songs in a show that was somewhat different from the show he performed to kick off his tour last fall.
While there were plenty of moments of relentless energy released onstage, there were also several opportunities for Springsteen to present a more laid-back, somber style. Songs like "Loose Ends" and "The River" mixed in with some of his rocking classics like "Born To Run" and "Long Walk Home" to provide concert-goers with a vast array of "The Boss" and his arsenal of work.
Springsteen's latest hit, "Radio Nowhere" was a part of the second-leg launch, and it's a good bet many of those songs will be performed when Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band perform at the Qwest Center on Friday, March 14.
