One of the legendary singer/songwriters of the 20th century will make a stop in Omaha, as Neil Diamond comes to town for a performance at the Qwest Center on Thursday, July 24.
Diamond has long been a force on the music scene, and while many remember his role in "The Jazz Singer" and hits like "Coming To America" and "Love On The Rocks," he actually got his start more than a decade earlier and penned two hits for The Monkees, including "I'm A Believer" and "A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You."
Diamond hit the big time on his own with hits like "Sweet Caroline" (a song he admitted, decades later, was written for Caroline Kennedy) and "Song Sung Blue." He had a smash duet with Barbara Streisand, "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" and cracked the top 10 with songs like "Heartlight."
Diamond will tour in support of his latest album, "Home Before Dark," which will be released on May 6. He recently announced his U.S. tour on the giant scoreboard at Boston's Fenway Park, where the song "Sweet Caroline" is a sing-along staple for Boston Red Sox fans.
Don't miss out on an opportunity to see and hear a legend in action. Get your tickets to see Neil Diamond on Thursday, July 24, at the Qwest Center now at Ticket Express -- where no event is ever sold out.
