The man who wrote a song for the daughter of a former president will be in Omaha as Neil Diamond performs at the Qwest Center on Thursday, July 24.
One of Diamond's signature songs is "Sweet Caroline," and he admitted last year that the song was written for Caroline Kennedy after seeing her on the cover of Life magazine in an equestrian riding outfit. The song went on to be a Number One hit in 1970 and is now a standard played at some baseball and soccer stadiums across the world.
"Love On The Rocks," "Song Sung Blue" and "Cracklin' Rosie" are just some of the great classic songs Diamond has written and recorded over the years. He actually got his first big break in the 1960's while writing the hit songs "A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You" and "I'm A Believer" for The Monkees.
Diamond is out on tour this summer in support of his latest album, "Home Before Dark" and will perform songs from the new album along with many of his classic hits.
Don't miss out on a chance to see and hear one of rock's legeds. Get your tickets to see Neil Diamond on Thursday, July 24 at the Qwest Center now at Ticket Express -- where no event is ever sold out.
