Heads will be banging, arms will be raised and guitars will be screaming as British rockers Def Leppard headline a big show full of 80's rock hits on Sunday, Aug. 17 at the Qwest Center.
Def Leppard's start came in the original band members' hometown of Sheffield, England. They first hit the American radio airwaves with songs like "High And Dry" and "Bringin' On The Heartbreak," but really hit the big time when their 1984 classic, "Pyromania," cued up big hits such as "Photograph," "Foolin'" and "Rock Of Ages."
The band has survived two catastrophic events. Drummer Rick Allen lost his arm in a car accident, and original guitarist Steve Clark died of a drug overdose. Still, the band carries on and are now out on tour in support of their new album, "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge."
Billy Idol, best known for such songs as "Rebel Yell" and "White Wedding," will open the show. Don't miss out on a great concert -- get your tickets for Def Leppard with Billy Idol now at Ticket Express -- where no event is ever sold out.
