If you're looking for something to do in Omaha during the next week, may we suggest attending a concert at Qwest Center?
It's not like you don't have options available to see a great show over the next few days. With four concerts in five days, it's a pretty good bet one (or more) of these shows might tickle your concert-going fancy.
On Sunday, Florida native Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will hit the stage at Qwest Center for what should be a tremendous show. Opening the evening's activities will be another rock legend, Steve Winwood, and a limited number of seats are still available for the show.
Monday evening is a night out for the kids, as The Jonas Brothers bring their youthful energy and enthusiasm to the stage. They were in Omaha last year opening up for Hannah Montana, and are now out on their own headlining tour, which should be a great show for the younger folks.
Tuesday is another great opportunity to see a great show, as the Dave Matthews Band will perform at Qwest Center. This band has developed quite a following during its 15 years in the mainstream, and they put out a great effort night in and night out. Opening the show will be new artist Ingrid Michaelson.
After three shows in three days, you're going to need a day off to catch your breath, because the big show is coming to town Thursday night. The legendary Neil Diamond will be at Qwest Center, performing many of his all-time classic hits like "Cracklin' Rosie" and "Love On The Rocks." It's a can't-miss performance that is sure to be a hot ticket, so don't miss out.
The month of August promises to be a little less intense, but a couple of great concerts are coming up with Brooks and Dunn on Saturday, Aug. 16 and Def Leppard with Billy Idol the following night on Sunday, Aug. 17. Don't miss out on these and other great at events at the Qwest Center. Get your tickets now at Ticket Express -- where no event is ever sold out.
