Wild week of concerts on tap at Qwest Center

So you want to go to a concert at the Qwest Center next week.

Not a problem -- there are plenty of opportunities to rock out at the Qwest Center this week, with four concerts taking place over a five-day period.

The fun begins Sunday, July 20 when Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers take the stage. This band has a been a hit-making machine since the late 1970's, from "Refugee" to "Jammin' Me." They will be joined by another rock legend, as Steve Winwood will open the festivities playing hits like "While You See A Chance" and "Higher Love."

The following night is one for the young folks, as The Jonas Brothers hit the stage Monday night, July 21. The brothers opened for Hannah Montana here last summer and are back promoting their new album and making a stop on their Burnin' Up Tour.

On Tuesday, July 22, the Omaha arena will see its third show in as many days when the Dave Matthews Band performs. They have become one of the hottest touring acts in the country and will put on a great show when they come to Omaha with opening act Ingrid Michaelson.

The people running the Qwest Center will get a night off, but will be hard at work on Thursday, July 24 when the legendary Neil Diamond comes to Omaha. The man noted for memorable hits like "Coming To America" and "Love On The Rocks" is out on the road and dazzling audiences with his classic sounds, and he'll no doubt put on a great show in Omaha as well.

You can get tickets to these Qwest Center concerts, as well as concerts all around the area and all over the country, at Ticket Express -- where no event is ever sold out.
