Great concerts coming up during River City Roundup

You can see some great rodeo action and great shows afterward during this year's River City Roundup at the Qwest Center.

The action begins Thursday night, Sept. 25, with rodeo action kicking off at 7 p.m., followed by the country music of Rodney Atkins. Atkins is out on tour in support of his new album, "If You're Going Through Hell" and has earned multiple nominations for awards from the Academy of Country Music.

On Friday night, Sept. 26, the arena will be filled with great rodeo thrills and spills and double-you-over laughter with Nebraska's own Larry The Cable Guy. The unapologetically, unpolitically-correct star of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour will have you rolling in the aisles with his unique brand of humor.

The River City Roundup wraps up Saturday night, Sept. 27, with more great rodeo action and America's pop-turned-country blonde bombshell, Jessica Simpson. The former pop star and current girlfriend of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is out on tour in support of her first country album, "Do You Know" and will put on a great performance to close out the annual event.
