Austrailia has given us kangaroos, Crocodile Dundee and their own brand of football. Their loudest import, however, is a five-man band of guitar-slinging rockers and they're coming to Omaha this January.
AC/DC has been rocking the world for over three decades, and they will be making a stop in Omaha for a concert at the Qwest Center on Thursday, Jan. 15.
The band was formed by guitar-wielding brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, and they first rose to fame in the late 1970's with tracks like "TNT" and "Highway To Hell." But it was the untimely death of lead singer Bon Scott that ultimately drove the band to icon status, and their 1981 release, "Back In Black" -- featuring new lead singer Brian Johnson -- became one of the biggest-selling albums of all time.
Since then the band has gone on to worldwide fame and has been inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Songs like "Thunderstruck" and "Moneytalks" are fan favorites, and the band has just released its first album in almost a decade, "Black Ice."
This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see one of rock's legendary acts, so don't miss out on your chance to see AC/DC in concert. Get your tickets now at Ticket Express -- where no event is ever sold out.
