The Eagles are landing.
Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmitt have put out their first album of new music in almost two decades, "Last Road To Eden" and are out on tour in support of this great album. The Eagles will fly into Omaha for a concert at the Qwest Center on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The Eagles rose to fame in the 1970's with their unique blend of California easygoing attitude and rock influence. Rocking songs like "Life In The Fast Lane" and "Already Gone" were mixed in with soaring, poetic ballads like "Lyin' Eyes," "Desperado" and "I Can't Tell You Why."
The band broke up in 1980, but reunited in 1984 for a live TV show that spawned a live album and the "Hell Freezes Over" tour. The band has continued touring but did not get back into the studio until 2007, and their new two-CD set continues their tradition of combining fantastic songwriting with striking lyrics.
They'll play many of their classics -- as well as some solo stuff from each member -- and it will be a show you won't want to miss. Get your tickets to see the Eagles now at Ticket Express -- where no event is ever sold out.
