One of the great rock bands of all time are making their way to the Qwest Center as the Eagles will perform in Omaha on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The foursome of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmitt have made a huge mark on the American music scene during the past three decades. Songs like "One Of These Nights," "Lyin' Eyes" and "The Long Run" have more than stood the test of time over the years and are still staples on classic rock radio stations all over the country.
Each of the band members has had their share of solo success as well. Henley has won several Grammy Awards for his solo work, Frey has made a name for himself with roles in music and movies (you may remember him as the owner of the Arizona Cardinals in "Jerry Maguire"), and Walsh and Schmitt have had solo hits as well.
But they are at their best when they are together in the collective known as the Eagles -- their reunion in 1994 (called "a 14-year vacation" by Frey) was one of the most celebrated reunions in rock and sparked not only a successful live album and tour, but kept the group on the rock scene into the 21st century.
The band has finally released an album of new music, "Long Road Out Of Eden" and is out on tour in support of the album. It's a concert you won't want to miss, so check out the Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 8 with tickets from Ticket Express -- where no event is ever sold out.
I took 1 st loans when I was a teenager and it supported my relatives very much. But, I require the auto loan over again.
